Central Europe Pipeline System

The Central Europe Pipeline System or CEPS is a network of NATO pipelines for the transportation of fuels. Although the main objective is to supply fuel to military bases, the network is now being leased to civilian organizations. According to NATO, 13 million m³ of fuel is transported annually, mainly kerosene but also diesel, petrol and naphtha. The network is 5120 km long.

The network connects important points of entry, such as ports and refineries with points of use such as airports, airports and barracks. The network extends from Rotterdam, Le Havre and Marseille to Hodenhagen, Aschaffenburg and Neuburg. In the Netherlands, for example, Schiphol is supplied and has depots in Pernis, Lopikerkapel (Depot Klaphek) and Markelo. In Belgium, Zaventem supplies, among other things, depots in Schoten, Melsbroek, Glaaien (French: Glons) and Chièvres. Management

The network is managed by the Central Europe Pipeline Management Agency or CEPMA. Each country is responsible for managing the pipelines within its territory:
