Domenico Provenzani


Domenico Provenzani (Palma di Montechiaro, September 20, 1736 - Palma di Montechiaro, January 29, 1794) was an Italian painter.

At 13, she lost her father, the Calogero Provenzani wood sculptor, and Prince Ferdinando Tomasi of Lampedusa takes care of his education, sending him to Palermo in the Serenary and Vito D'Anna workshops.

Painter among the most important of the 18th century Sicilian, his works are located in the birthplace and in other parts of southern Sicily (Licata, Naro, Mussomeli).
