Gianni Italia (Cremona, 1944) is an Italian trade unionist.
He started working as an electrician in a company in Milan in 1960; then he moved to Genoa, where he worked as electrical design engineer at Italimpianti, holding a state-owned IRI group. In 1962 he joined Fim-Cisl. In 1970 he began working as a full-time operator in the Fim-Cisl department in Genoa, where he would become general secretary in 1978. The following year he joined Fim Cisl's national secretariat, first responsible for the general mechanical industry plant, then the steel industry and finally the car and transport sector.
In 1989, Raffaele Morese took over as Secretary General of Fim-Cisl, who will continue to drive to the Genoa Congress in May 1997. At the end of 1997, he became president of the Iosos (CISI) .
