Haunted House is a computer game that was developed and published by Atari. The game ended in 181 for the Atari 2600. Subsequent releases for other platforms. It was one of the first games that could be scrolled to have a playing field that consisted of multiple screens.
Three pieces of an urn are hidden in a country house. The goal of the game is to enter the country house, find the three pieces, merge and leave the country house before the nine levels are on.
The country house consists of three floors and a basement. On the way, the player is bothered by various opponents. Many of the rooms in the country house are locked and somewhere light a mother key is hidden, which has to be searched. With a match, the wall can be sheltered to see if there are objects there. A match gives only a limited radius of light. Lucifers can be used unlimited. However, the game keeps track of how much matches are used, the less the higher the final score.
