Nigel Lawson
Nigel Lawson (later Baron Lawson of Blaby), PC (London, March 11, 1932) is a British journalist, former Conservative Member of the House of Commons and between June 1983 and October 1989 Minister of Finance in the Government of Thatcher. As a member of the Lagerhuis, he represented the Blaby district from 1974 to 1992. In 1992 he was elevated in the nobility and joined the Hogerhuis.
Nigel Lawson is a Jewish comforter and father of the publicist and media personality Nigella Lawson and the journalist Dominic Lawson.
