Canada is the 6th largest trading nation in the world. It is a member of the Group of Seven Most Industrialized Countries, known as the G7 countries. The other members are the USA, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy.
Canada grew well because of its enormous wealth of natural resources. The first valuable export article was furious. Later it appeared that Canada had enormous stocks of minerals, including zinc, nickel, gold, silver, iron ore, uranium, copper, cobalt and lead. There are also large reserves of crude oil and natural gas. And the power of water is used to generate electricity.
