Corry Brokken and Mies Bouwman as clowns (29 October 1960)
The main role was a Dutch talk program of the AVRO, where each episode turned around the life of one famous guest. The program was based on American This Is Your Life.
The first role was presented for the first time in 1960 and 1961 by Mies Bouwman. From 1985 to 1987 and in the 1992/93 season, new episodes of the program were broadcast, re-presented by Bouwman. The last season of 1992 consisted of six episodes, but then Bouwman stopped abruptly with her television work. Between 1996 and 2000, VARA released a similar program as The Show of Your Life by Astrid Joosten.
In 2008, it was attempted to blow in the lead role of new life, presented this time by Frits Sissing. However, it did not make the AVRO the success expected and the program disappeared after one season from the tube.
