J.B. Broekszprijs

The J.B. Broeksz Prize was awarded by the Dutch broadcaster VARA for people who contributed to the humanization of society. The prize was named after a former chairman of the VARA, Jan Broeksz. With the award, programmers, but also others, were honored for their efforts to give society a "human face". Initially, the prize was awarded to persons and institutions that made art and media accessible to a wide audience. Later, the prize was awarded to program makers who discussed important social issues with their work. Some prize winners
