Karel Wendel Kruijswijk (Amsterdam, July 21, 1921) is a Dutch former dammer, lady historian and vaporist. He is especially known for the publication of the standard work of General History and Bibliography of the Dam Game of 1966. He also wrote various other publications about dams and vapor issues.
Kruijswijk was already a steam problem since its 14th year. In the 50's he was a short-time contest damer. Then until the early 80's he was employed in the Dam and Chess Book Department of the Royal Library (Bibliotheca Van der Linde-Niemeijeriana) in The Hague. In addition, he held various functions in the dam world, so he was President of the Circuit for Damp Problems. Bibliography
