Picture Watch

The watchwatch is a watch that was developed to help people who have no sense of time or unable to clock, to orient themselves in time. It reminds the carrier of a self-chosen image, in the shape of an icon or photo accompanied by a signal, to a new appointment or activity.

The image watch was designed by Ben Bunt, father of a child with intellectual disabilities. Bunt was appointed to knight in the Oranje-Nassau Order for the design of the image watch.

The tool was tested by the age of 40 for mental health care professionals for the introduction in 2012. The image watch was also tested by children with autism, demented elderly and psychiatric clients. Externe link
