Atlantic Ocean (Bamberg)

Atlantik is a historic German motorcycle brand.

The company name was: Atlantik-Werke, Bamberg.

This German brand built 1925 and 1926 primitive motorcycles with 173cc two-stroke engines. At that time, hundreds of small German brands closed the gates after they had also been on the market with hundreds around 1923. A disadvantage for Atlantik in Bamberg was the fact that the built-in engine that was chosen was the Rohöl (crude oil) -tweetact developed by Julius Löwy. These engines delivered very little power and were also not very reliable.

There was another brand called Atlantik: see Atlantik (Brackwede).
