Miel Vanstreels (1951) was born in Godsheide, a hamlet of Hasselt. At the nineteenth he moved to Maastricht. He worked for more than 40 years in the (elderly) care. Poems from him were recorded in magazines such as Heibel, Dutch Monthly Bulletin, New Flemish Magazine, Dietsche Warande & amp; Belfort, the Guide and the Wall.
