Muscles for Muscles is a CBF-approved foundation since October 2003. She collects money to finance scientific research into the background of neuromuscular diseases (muscle diseases) or provide financial guarantees. Muscles for Muscles live in Amsterdam. Ex-hockey international Marjolein Bolhuis-Eijvogel is Director of the Foundation. Among others Louis van Gaal and his wife Truus Opmeer are honorary ambassadors of the foundation. In addition, there are many (ex) top athletes dedicated to Muscles for Muscles.
