Commemorative medal to the 70th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe


The Commemorative Medal to the 70th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe, (Danish: "Erindringsmedalje i Anledningen af ​​Hendes Majestæt Dronningens 70års Fødselsdag"), is a Danish award. The medal was set on 16 April 2010 by Queen Margarethe II of Denmark. On the day of the birthday party 450 silver medals were awarded to the royal family, the guests and the court.

On the front of the coin, the reigning queen is portrayed with a new sculptor adapted to her age. The lettering is "MARGARETHE II DANMARKS DRONNING". Gentlemen wear the medal on a heavily folded blue ribbon on the left chest. Ladies wear the medal on a bow on their left shoulder.
