Council of Antioch

The Council of Antioch was a non-ecumenical council of the Roman Catholic Church held in the year 324 in Antioch in honor of opening the Golden Church of Constantine the Great.

Church historians suspect that the apostolic cannon is written here, a series of laws and rules for bishops. These canonics deal with excommunication, synods and relations with Jews and other (in the eyes of the participants) pagan strings. The final composition of the Bible, especially the New Testament, was probably recorded here.
