Mental orthopedics

Mental orthopedics is a technique invented by Alfred Binet, designed to fortify mental abilities (memory, judgment, will, attention, perception) of "abnormal" or "weaker" children.

This is a method of learning how to learn through a series of physical exercises and immobility games (such as statues playing) designed to increase your attention skills by training your intelligence to improve it. For Binet, in fact, intelligence was something educational and not innate as the fissure and fatalistic theories argued.
