Palatinate (region)


The Palatinate (German: Palatinate, Palatinate: Palz) is a region in the south of the German federal country of Rhineland-Palatinate. The area is 5,451 km² in size and has about 1.4 million inhabitants. The wine region Palatinate is Germany's second largest wine region.
