Pura Meru

Pura Meru is a Hindu temple in Cakranegara on the Indonesian island of Lombok. It is one of the island's most important religious buildings and it is also one of the island's most famous tourist attractions.

The Pura Meru was built in 1720 by the Balinese Hindu, during the reign of King Anak Agung Made Karang. The temple is the largest of Lombok, with the three major towers symbolizing the Trinity Brahma, Vishnoe and Shiva.

The temple is widely used for festivals and special ceremonies.
