Class E and F were a class of 18 destroyers produced for the British Royal Navy serving in World War II. Three units were subsequently transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy, one at Elliniko Polemikó Navtikó and one at the Dominican Warship. Flotilla E was ordered in 1931 and the Fs the following year. The units were launched in 1934.

For the first time by class A units in 1927, the lead-destroying version (Exmouth and Faulknor) was designed to accommodate an additional 120mm cannon between the two fumes. The elongation allowed to create three watertight compartments for the boilers, increasing the floating capacity. The conducting units were not equipped for laying and mining.
