Bellegoed

Bellegoed is the name of four historical heaths in Ypres in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The huts are called North, East, South and West Bellegood and formerly belonged to the Belle family, leading Iperse patricians, whose guardianship also affected the Irish Bellegodshuis. The four hoops are indicated on the Ferrari cards from the 70's of the 18th century. In the First World War they were in the vicinity of the Ieper Arch's front.

South Bellegood was used as a field hospital during the war. After the war, the shelves were rebuilt in a regionalist reconstruction architecture. The four hoops received several owners and later became OCMW. location
