Max Benitz (London, England, March 14, 1985) is a British actor.
He is known for his role as Peter Miles Calamy in the war movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, along with actors Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany. He was chosen for the role after an interview with director Peter Weir. Career
From September 1998 to July 2003 he was at Harrow School in London. He is currently studying at the University of Edinburgh. In 2005, Benitz had a small role as Huband in a movie version of Thomas Hughes' novel Tom Brown's Schooldays. Benitz also played in Trial & amp; Retribution X: Sins of the Father in 2006 as James Harrogate.
