Migliaccio (Tuscan gastronomy)

Tuscan molluscs are salted bacon with yellow flour and raisins.

Milestones were offered to some teenagers in the Family of Circles, Portals and Bronts in the Palace of the PodestĂ  of Florence during the first clashes between the families of black and white guelphs. Being the poisoned miles, they did not hurt anyone who ate them and even six people died (four Circles, a Portman and a Bronti).

In much of Tuscany, molasses are sweet crepes made with flour, egg, sugar and anise

Depending on the areas, the term may also indicate a "fried" pork blood dish, both sweet and salty, and also the sweet chestnut flour cake known as chestnuts.

For example, in the Sienese tradition, the molasses are made by making a mixture of traditional Sienese sweets, such as breadcrumbs and horses crushed with the addition of flour, egg, sugar, pork stock and the unavoidable blood, always of pig . Once the dough is processed, the dregs are pressed into lard and then dusted with icing sugar. The recipes are naturally variable, as is always the case with "home-made". In the tradition of the Siena and also Florentine countryside there are recipes composed only of flour, sugar and pork blood, sometimes with the addition of eggs.
