Steve Jones (January 5, 1960) is a British pilot and artificial airman in the Red Bull Air Race World Series, flying into a Zivko Edge 540.

Jones got his first fly lesson when he was only five years old, in a Cessna, at the knee of a friend of his family. He became a pilot both commercially and competitively.

Commercial is Jones a senior pilot for British Airways, flying in a Boeing 747. He spends his time off racing to work on and race in racing cars. He is also building an old wooden plane.

Since 1994, Jones flies in competitions and as a copilot with Paul Bonhomme in their SukhoiDuo Team. They have their shows around the world. Jones has been in the Red Bull Air Race since the first British race in 2004. In 2007 he won the race in Portugal, defeating later champion Mike Mangold.
