War of the Second Dragon

The Second Dragon War is a war of the American author Robert Jordan's Row of Time.

The war began when Guaire Amalasan called himself the Lord's Dragon, although contested by the Aes Sedai. Guaire Amalasen could guide saidin, and within a year he had a firm hand over the nation Darmovan, after which he conquered Elan Dapor and Balasun. In spite of attempts to stop him, he had a firm grip on the Kharendor, Dhowlan, Shiota and Farashelle nations a year later. With the Predictions of the Dragon in his mind, he began a march to the city of Tyr, in which the Tyr Stone was the magic sword Callandor, the sign of the Lord's Dragon.

After conquering the nations Nerevan and Esandara, his army began to siege the stone. Assisted by 31 Aes Sedai however, held this position. Amalasan retained the siege, but also began an invasion of the nations Talmour and Khodamar. In many free nations, the idea was that only the true Lord of the Dragon could reach so much, and mighty riches faced dragon swords. Finally, Artur Hawk Wing defeated him when he won with a minority. This battle was the beginning of the end: Amalasan was captured and brought to Tar Valon.

When the news of the imprisonment became known, two of Amalasian Lieutenants rushed to Tar Valon with an army of 100,000 men. Fighting broke out in the city itself when the Army of Artur Hawk Wing also entered the city. The fights even raged in the White Tower, but Amalasan was still set. His army fled away in fear after that message, and his kingdom broke down.
