Yvonne Désiré Burger (1965) is a Dutch business consultant, organizational adviser and professor of organizational culture, communication and leadership at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is Program Leader of Postgraduate Education Executive Coaching.
Burger studied at the University of Amsterdam from 1983 to 1988, and in 1992 he graduated from the dissertation "Between reality and rhetoric: decentralization and autonomy in practice: an investigation into the success and failure factors in decentralization and autonomy processes within big organizations. "
After her PhD in 1992, she worked for Deloitte Consulting for two years and four years ago at Twynstra Gudde. Since 2000, she has her own organizational advisory office. In addition, she is a teacher at Sioo and De Baak. At the Sioo she was also a rector between 2002 and 2004, together with Jaap Boonstra. Since 2007 she has been part-time professor "Organization Culture, Communication and Leadership", Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration at the Free University in Amsterdam.
